Back outside again


I've done my training all week and had built up ready for a run outside. I sat procrastinating yesterday morning because I was so nervous. I had decided on a 6:3 run/walk split and I was scared to death about running on my first undulations for a couple of months.

I eventually pushed myself out of the door and got on with it. It was so tiring, at first the cold got to me with my asthma but that got sorted with the aid of my inhaler, them it was all down to general unfitness! I puffed and panted my way through it and apart from the last 6 minutes where I walked extra, I did the rest on the planned 6:3. It was quite scary that I'm this unfit with only 8 weeks until my 39.3 mile race. There is the possibility of changing to the full or half marathon by 1st March, so although I do have that in mind, I'm not giving in yet!

I won one of the 8 places for 3 months free dietary advice from Ania and that starts tomorrow, plus I've just booked our venue for our 10 year anniversary party next year, so it's s happening at the minute!
