Jinxing things

I really should know better than to start anticipating a comeback to training. Yesterday I did a smallish easy 4 mile walk with the dog and my foot hurt so much afterwards I went back on the ibuprofen.

After texting the podiatrist who STILL hasn't got my orthotics sorted and STILL hasn't got the DVD from the hospital which fully explains the tendon injury in images, I wasn't surprised to find that after 26 hours he still hasn't answered the text. This is not like him, so I know he is avoiding me. He was very put out when I suggested going to see my physio (Tim) and said he won't be able to help and if I've seen something online about physiotherapy being the answer then I was obviously looking at a physiotherapy website. He's wrong... My friend Kerry sent me a link to an NHS site about tendonitis and everything I've researched since says physiotherapy will help. I remember putting up with a bad back (after injuring it whilst decorating) for 11 weeks before going to see Tim, and after only 1 session it was like I'd never hurt my back.

So, for the next few days I'm staying on ibuprofen and I'm making an appointment to see Tim (all bring well I should get in next week).
It's time for a second opinion!
