Well, today is the end of the experiment Graeme and I embarked upon 30 days ago. Graeme became vegan (which has turned out to be permanent) and I gave up crisps, chips and red wine (not so permanent, although I won't be going back to having them as often after the surprising results).
So, I have lost 7lb, -2 inches off my waist, -0.5 inches off my chest, -1.5 inches off my hips, thighs are down 3/4 of an inch, BMI down from 23 to 21.9, Fat down from 26.1 to 24.7, water up from 54.1 to 55.1 (showing I have lost fat and not water), muscle mass up from 33.3 to 33.7, and finally visceral fat down from 6 to 5.
I feel great and am happy with the results.
Graeme has lost 9lb, -2.25 inches off his waist, -2 inches off his chest, hips down 1 inch, thighs down 0.5 of an inch, BMI down from 24 to 22.7, fat down from 15.2 to 12.5, water up from 62.1 to 64, muscle mass up from 42.6 to 43.6 and visceral fat down from 8 to 7.
He's chuffed and says he hasn't seen under 11 stone for years and years.
So, the experiment was a great success for us both.
