I think it was literally within 15 minutes of writing that last blog and I was walking to my car with my foot really hurting. I rang the podiatrist and told him I'd decided I wanted an MRI scan because I wasn't prepared to pay for a holiday to India if I couldn't run there. I get my referral form tomorrow and will make an appointment for as soon as possible. Apparently I will probably get in within a few days for it and the report will follow in about 7 days. I can't go on with the uncertainty and I want to know once and for all what's wrong.
I still went to the gym today and did 10 minutes on the elliptical machine and thirty minutes on the hill climber. The first and last 5 minutes on the hill climber were done at level 6 .... I've never gone higher than level one before, and you can tell. The last 5 minutes I was exhausted and felt like my heart was going to come out of my throat. So... A good workout! Plus, I was told by someone in the gym I have arms like Sarah Connor (off Terminator). I was chuffed to bits. I've been told that before, however it was about 9 years ago. Yay me... I just need a good foot to go with the arms! :-)
I'm a bit scared about the MRI scan. Who knows what they will uncover?
