Ready for a rest day

It's been a busy week on the training front, and I have pushed myself to get my fitness back up as quick as I can. Apart from the XL run on Saturday I think everything else this week went rather well. Today I ran for 45 minutes and did a set of squats incorporating partials and statics. It seems such a long time since I did those, so I'm pleased with today's efforts. I am, however, more than ready for tomorrow which is my rest day. But, I feel like it is well deserved. :-)

After getting an OMM bumbag for Christmas I decided to get the little rucksack to go with it today and start training with them both AND my XL vest on my Saturday runs. It means I'm going to find the next couple of weeks very difficult, but it has to be done! The bumbag is great (I used that last weekend) so I'm sure the other one will be good too. The rucksack got a "best in test" from Trail Running magazine, so I'm looking forward to trying it out.

So, lovely rest day tomorrow... Ahhhhh!!!! :-)
