Well, 5 years ago my lovely dog George died. I've thought about him all day and as I posted a picture (the only one I have) on Facebook, I had a little tear in my eye. Sometimes I lie on the floor in the kitchen with Lincoln (when he's all tired and sleepy) and it often takes me back to the day before George died when I lay on the kitchen floor with him, cuddling him and sponging water into his mouth because he was too weak to drink. Every time I moved away he would whimper for me to come back. I'll never forget him!
First day back at work today didn't exactly go as planned when my first clients' daughter in law came in shouting the odds... shame she didn't take the time to listen to what I was saying. Why do people always fly off the handle and decline to listen? Anyway, it all got sorted in the end... once she'd took her head out of her arse!
I took all of my training stuff to work with the plan of going straight to the spa when I was on the way home, however after realising I'd forgotten my locker key and a phone call from my mam saying I needed to fill in some school forms for Luke, I ended up not getting there. In a way, it's probably for the best, as I really should take the rest of this week easy and not rush back into training full pelt. I'm thinking next week will be the first proper full week back, Graeme has even agreed to going back to yoga! (Shock horror!)
My diet has been really good since New Year, however today I was shocked when I worked out that the "healthy" spaghetti bolognese I made for tea had an unbelievable 947 calories. No wonder we live in an obese society!
