They never get any easier do they? I found intervals very tiring today. Maybe it was the efforts of Sunday catching up with me? I'm not sure! I was glad when they were done.
Before the intervals I did my skipping. Zandra moved a few bits and bobs so I could do it in the gym as a class was going on in the studio. She looked at a calendar for November to see who was instructing for circuits when Paula, Kerry, Terry and Micheal come up to the spa for the day. Unfortunately for them, it's her who's doing them. Asking if we would get a beasting, she replied looking shocked, "Why, don't you always get beasted?" Oh yes, we do!
I did my 10 minutes barefoot warm up and managed great. My feet didn't feel tender at the end, so I must be getting used to it. My feet were landing lovely, perfect midfoot strike... and I've noticed that I do this more and more when running outside too. A few times I noticed I was landing midfoot during the race... mind you, towards the end, I think with the faster pace I was heel striking!
I'm having my training reviewed from William and Shaun with some alterations to the weights. I'm looking forward to seeing what I'm to change. I like a bit of change... makes me feel like I'm getting somewhere.
