Today I ran with the worst most awful headache ever... it was literally throbbing. I felt pretty awful and in the end switched my Garmin off at 7 miles and walked the last 3.56 miles home. It just wasn't my day today... and it wasn't lack of motivation or laziness I was feeling, it was just one of those bad days where you aren't feeling yourself!
Yesterday I went on the exercise bike and did a really good session. The faster parts were done at 100-106 rpm and recoveries were done at around 75-80 rpm. I was knackered when I'd finished and had to get all the cleaning gear to wipe the huge amount of sweat that had dripped off my forehead and nose onto the floor. I was the only sweaty one there... 2 other girls were there (one of them had the most perfect tonged hair that cascaded over her shoulders)... my hair was up in a ponytail and still soaked through to the ends! Never mind... I'm not exactly there to look pretty... thank God!
After the session I couldn't even walk properly... my legs didn't seem to be able to bend at the knee. Rather amusing :-)
