After my 12 mile run yesterday, my knee was it's usual niggly self. Now sometimes, I feel perfectly fine with it and don't know why.
So, last night, I got home and read through my training logs and realised that my knee is normally better after rollering my ITB for 10 painful minutes and when I stretch my quads and hamstrings. (I'm a right lazy lout when it comes to stretching normally).
OK, so I did all above last night. Within half an hour there was no knee pain, and today there is nothing again. *Light bulb flashes above head*
So.... I'm thinking it's probably time to be more careful with my poor limbs and do them the service of a bit of rollering and stretching from now on.
Ordered my third pair of trainers today. Wow, I've never kept the same make/model for this long before. I'm so glad I've finally found the right shoe for me.
