iThlete

Ran 10.45 miles yesterday and really enjoyed the run. It really did feel effortless and HR average was 140 bpm. It was probably the most comfortable run I've done in a long time.
When I got back my new iThlete dongle had come through the post, and being my usual impatient self I had to have a go. It said my HR was erratic and I needed to relax and try later so I was forced to wait until this morning to have a proper go.
Now, I don't know what a "good" reading is for the HRV, but an example on the literature showed 70 as the highest reading in the example. (0 is bad, 100 is fantastic). I had had a terrible nights sleep, felt knackered and kept coughing all night, so when I got my very first reading of 67 I was pleasantly surprised.
Looking forward to seeing what tomorrow brings after a rest day, although I have been advised by the bloke who devised this, that Hadds training should keep me in the "green" for training each day due to the low intensity of the technique.
So... we shall see! :-)
