I have emailed a bloke from Fife AC about the Fife 50K on May 9th. There is a cut off of 6 hours, so I have enquired about the rigidity of this. Having done Loch Ness in 4'57'58 and this being totally flat, it is possibly doable but I don't want to put myself under too much pressure at this stage. I definately want to do the big one next year, so training and seriousness starts here!
The second day of HRV readings today on the iThlete, and it showed as 78, which I think seems pretty good. The RHR was 52.6, so I'm learning that one rest day is definately enough when I'm feeling fit. This is a good thing to know...especially with the training I have ahead of me.
