Knackered


I've now completed the first full week of training for a long long time. I've done intervals (all be it very slowly) and stuck to the full 3 sets of 10 minutes without walking during the running sections (shock horror.... I can do it after all!), I've done a proper session of squats, I've done hill training and refused to wimp out on the big hill I haven't previously tried for hill running (despite the heat being 27 degrees that day) although I only ran it once and then ran the hill I normally do reps on (on the way home!)... but, it's a start. Today I did deadlifts and my second session of upper body weights. I was tired and aching so much when I'd finished, I couldn't even close the window!

Last Monday my body fat percentage had stayed the same but muscle mass went up, as did my weight (I gained 2lb) but my clothes feel much looser and I can feel around my waist that I'm trimmer. My arms look better too. I'm still eating very clean with the odd bit of naughtiness thrown in, however the naughty food is now making me feel a bit shit, so I'm cheating less and less as time goes on. I had wine last night and got absolutely wrecked on an amount which normally wouldn't have that effect, so it seems I'm becoming an alcohol wuss too!
