ITB trouble

I'm starting to think that completing 47 miles of the Wall with a dodgy ITB wasn't the wisest decision I've ever made. Don't get me wrong, I can now walk quite far without pain, but trying to run for a full minute has me almost limping after about 45 seconds. I'm stretching, rollering, drinking plenty of water, taking flaxseed oil and systemic enzymes, covered in Rock Tape and there is only a minor improvement. Maybe I'm expecting too much too soon?

I got a new GPS watch this week. I went for the Ambit 2 after reading about a number of people really thinking it was the bees knees. I have to say, it is really great. I love that you put whatever exercise you want to do in there (via the computer) and it comes up on your watch and you just go with what you need for that particular session. So far I've got Running, Hills and Ultra Running in there.... the difference between the running and ultra being I have them set at different GPS timings (running set at 1 second update and ultra set at 1 minute update so it lasts 45-50 hours for the ultra). I just wish I could start using it properly and get out there running!!!

The next obstacle was learning to download the exercise file to Fetch... that took me nearly an hour to sort out, but now I know how to do it.
