S-t-t-t-t-r-r-r-r-e-t-t-t-t-c-h

I haven't had the best of weeks! I still haven't got my voice back fully and am still talking a little hoarse, plus on Wednesday I came down with a bit of a stomach bug. I've been so diligent with my eating and hydration, so it's been annoying. To be fair though, my diet is probably just starting to take effect... it's not like I'll automatically feel better overnight.

Behind my knee was doing well and then I woke up on Wednesday morning to find it in agony again. I immediately had the dawning realisation that it could be bursitis. I googled if it was possible to get bursitis behind the knee, found out you could and started to stretch regularly throughout the day (until about 3pm when I came down with the lurgy!).

On Thursday I went to see the physio who confirmed it was acute knee bursitis (and told me I was getting good at this self diagnosis stuff!). I was given ultrasound on it for the inflammation and told to stretch. He tells me to stretch all the time but I only take notice when I'm injured unfortunately. William and Shaun tell me to stretch too, and I'm pretty good at ignoring their advice on that too. It's not that I think it's rubbish advice, it's just I'm lazy when it comes to stretching! Anyway, they sent me a link to a new stretching method I wasn't aware of called the Ming Method. You have to buy the book, however it was only five quid! So, I sent for it. When I told Tim about it, he shook his head and said, "How often have I told you to stretch?". *Ashamed face*

So, I'm going to be a good girl and start doing this Ming thing when I get the book, plus, I'm stretching periodically throughout the day too. I'm also icing behind my knee and I'm going to buy some more ibuprofen tomorrow. It should all be ok for The Wall if I sort it now. My back was also very very tight, so I need that sorted over the next fortnight too.
