A waiting game

I really didn't think a week ago I would still be waiting for my MRI results today, but I still am. It's horrible sitting here speculating, but I am (for the moment) treating it like bursitis and taking anti inflammatories. I WAS going to get up early and do an hour of step tomorrow, but William happened to mention that jumping too quick back into training whilst on that medication wasn't such a good idea. Ahhh, I hadn't thought of that... Good job he mentioned it!

Graeme is off to his brothers to watch the England match so I'm home alone watching chick flicks (life could be worse!). He bought a six pack of alcohol free lager and as he plonked it down on the bench I took one look and explained they weren't vegan. He was in the middle of saying he would throw them out when I told him not to be silly and just drink them. He told me he didn't want to because he had promised to do a vegan pledge. I thought no more of it until I saw him emptying the bottles down the sink. I HATE waste, so told him just to put them aside until his 30 day pledge was over and he wasn't vegan anymore, but to my surprise he announced he wasn't going back to eating how he used to and from now on will be vegan. To say I was surprised is an understatement, and I just stared at him as he poured all six bottles down the sink. I knew he was feeling better on the vegan diet and has noticed he had lost weight around his middle and in his face. I also knew that he preferred the Sunday lunch because it tasted less greasy with vegan gravy than it's meaty alternative, but I was still completely shocked that after only 2 weeks he had already decided to change permanently.

So anyway, I am now in a little bit of limbo waiting to find out what my scan says but at least I'm in a better mood than last week and am not full of dread because Monday morning is on the way! It helps knowing there's a holiday in the near future, and we are all looking forward to it immensely. I should have realised Graemes' intentions regarding his diet when we booked that actually, as he asked for 2 vegan meals on the plane!
