Everyone's a runner

When the weather is beautiful it seems that everyone's a runner but you. I watched people trotting along the paths and winced as I saw their footstrike, my foot hurting just watching the act of the forefoot slamming into the concrete. And when it's the "pain in the arse" time that is a womans' monthly cycle, it seems no matter how healthy you eat you feel bloated, uncomfortable, achy, sore and miserable. Stepping on the scales mid afternoon expecting to see an extra half a stone didn't happen... Instead it was only a pound, so why does my stomach look like I have a cushion shoved under my top? My foot has been aching today. I'm not sure why, maybe I walked too far in my boot on the quest to find a BUAV approved line of cosmetics. It's very frustrating.

Good things today are, work is going well and I only have 2 more days there before I get a few days off, then it's back to work for two days and off again for Easter. I've had a good reason to work hard, I'm trying to get a really good amount of money for the end of April so I can book our trip to Dubai and Bangalore. I'm feeling a repeat of last years' circumstances around cancelling all of my races may be on the horizon, and only having India to look forward to. Hopefully that's just my negative mood today.

I have found what looks like a great line of cosmetics called Urban Decay. Graeme and I are off to the metro centre on Friday to see what they have as Debenhams there stocks it all. I can't afford to buy everything, just stuff I'm running out of at the moment which is foundation and blusher. And my Vegan Runners vest came. Graeme says it really suits me, but I often get complimented when I wear anything emerald green. It must be my colour. :-)
