Busy bee

I was supposed to be travelling down to Wales today ready to enter an ultra, and quite frankly I was very ready for a break from work and so left my holidays in. We went to the metro centre this morning and I bought my first lot of ethical makeup. I needed foundation desperately, so got a tinted moisturiser and mineral powder from the Urban Decay stand. The woman there put it on for me and gave a very "no pressure" sales approach and told me to have a wander around a few shops before making a decision. Needless to say, I love it. I love everything else too, but I'll have to get bits at a time because I can't afford to buy it all in one go.

I sat in the garden this afternoon while Graeme worked hard getting it all sorted. I did bits but couldn't do a lot because of my foot. While he was finishing off I went to Asda and bought everything to make a homemade vegan curry from scratch and I spent a while on the computer ordering a stack of "staple" foods from Goodnessdirect. Graeme was supposed to make a meal for me tonight, but after so many hours in the garden I felt sorry for him and made a Vegan Tikka Masala. OMG it was gorgeous. I was actually very proud of myself.
So I'm now sat here very full after a great meal and I still have a full face of makeup from this morning. That's unheard of for me, so it's definitely a good one! Now I just need to restart my training. After putting my son and his best friend through their paces on a squat session, I realised how much I'm missing training. I need to start doing something!!!
