Enough is enough

I'd had enough of rest by Saturday and decided I had to do something. Graeme got his pads that he uses for Muay Thai and we did a spot of boxing exercise. Unfortuantely my shoulders gave in before my cardio got going, but I did 10 minutes which is better than nothing, and then finished up with some core exercises. I got Graeme to do them too and he sat and whinged all the way through. Yesterday was no better, and he moaned about how much he was aching... I reckon he needs to toughen up. ;-)

So, he is looking for some boxing gloves for me so I can keep this up, as Shaun said it's an excellent exercise to do. I could definitely keep it up if I had my own gloves and not the minging sweaty ones that Graeme lent me.

This afternoon I'm off deep water running and I'm really looking forward to it as I feel I need a good day of exercise. Hopefully I'll get to push myself and still be within the restraints of the foot injury. My foot is really irritating and seems worse now that I'm not doing anything, but I am booked in to see the podiatrist again on Friday for more laser treatment (which he assures me speeds up the healing process).

And I got some great news today... the Electric and Gas bills have been overpayed and they owe me £550. It couldn't have come at a better time as we have been really skint since (as long ago as) Amsterdam. This money puts us back to normal after a rather hellish few months! :-)
