We have to go back

Graeme and I are having a glass of wine and a curry. All week I have had the strangest of feelings... A feeling that I REALLY want to go back to India, and I really want to do the Bangalore Ultra again. I feel like I would be so much more prepared and aware next time. These are feelings I've pretty much kept to myself, thinking it probably wouldn't happen. I'm not one for going back and redoing things... I'm more of a "move onto the next" sorta girl. The only races I've done twice were The Great North Run (because I won a place on the second year) and the London Marathon (because I was given a free place both years). So to actually WANT to pay again to do the race is a new one on me. I hadn't told Graeme my feelings until tonight when he said he wanted to go back and do it again. He said he would only do the 50K and it is the only ultra he'd ever do again... But he wants to do it. So, Bangalore may see us again, and so may our lovely Taj West End Hotel!

William and Shaun have been in touch about my training. They have suggested a tough step session, and after looking on the Hadrians Wall Heritage website and seeing that the multitude of stiles on the course look more like step ladders, I'm thinking this session sounds like a great idea!!!
