Retirement

Yesterday I got home from work and did a 3 mile run. My legs felt pretty good actually, although I felt very awkward as I ran. The tops of my legs (ball and socket sort of thing) felt very achy indeed, but as I ran in horrendously bad wind I couldn't help but feel very good and really enjoyed it!

Yoga went well too, I really love the class and I like everyone who does it too. I was told that I'm very good at it - even more so because I run and don't really have the lack of flexibilty of some runners (that's probably because being called a runner is termed very loosely with me, I reckon)!

Today I will be doing some intervals... NO idea how they are going to feel, but I'm sure I'll find out. It will hopefully de-stress me after the day I've had. I finally got around to sorting out a pension, and it has been playing on my mind for a good year now. The independent advisor said things weren't as bleak as I was imagining and I have plenty of time to get the funds required (as I have 2 other pensions already this is going to help no end). I'm so pleased to finally get it sorted though. This month I've gone a bit mad and got loads of training gear I wanted as I had a really good pay (commission based, so I never know how the month is going to go until the end). I promised myself I would get a few things, and I've got them now, so it's all saving for Bangalore and Christmas now. It's funny but I'd planned all along to get loads of stuff from this pay packet but when it came to it I felt very guilty for the indulgence. I used to buy dresses and shoes and make-up... now I buy shorts and trainers and hydration packs!
