Yesterdays intervals weren't finished due to a very large blister that covers the whole outside of my big toe. I think I need to wear a compeed plaster over that area from now on when I wear my trail shoes! I did 2 sets of intervals though so it wasn't all bad, and I made up the time later by doing some step exercise.
Today I had a walk with the dog and then went up and did 10 minutes on the rebounder. I made sure I worked hard and then did my squats. I was finishing them when Graeme and Paul came up to do their weights session. I think they were shocked to see how much weight was on the bar... but to be fair that was for my static. I can't do a full squat with 120KG! (Yet) :-)
I had a 20 minute sauna in the hope the dry heat would dry the blister out a bit. It seems fairly dry now so I'm glad tomorrow is a rest day as it gives it chance to improve.
On Saturday I'll be doing the run from Sunderland to home, so I need my blistered toe to be able to cope with a 15 mile run by then! One thing I'm really pleased about is how fab my foot is with regard to neuritis. I actually think it's on its way out...
