Pain

I went to circuits today. It was the hardest session I have done to date.
Alex (the instructor) got us to do a sort of mini circuit before each main circuit.
The "mini" consisted of 30 seconds jogging, 30 seconds sprinting and 30 seconds back kicks. The main circuit comprised of plank, quick steps, bicep curls with 5KG dumbells, shoulder press with 3KG dumbells, press ups, hill climbing, tricep dips, squats with a 18KG barbell, bent over row with 9KG barbell, crunches, shoulder fly with 3KG dumbells and finally step ups.

So, a quick mini circuit and then we were into the main one for 30 seconds per exercise. With only 1 minute recovery afterwards the mini circuit was done again followed by 1 minute on each main exercise sets. This time a very (kind) 1 minute and 30 seconds recovery and it was all done again this time for 30 seconds. Another minute recovery and we finished on 45 seconds each station.
The last set was absolutely awful, I felt sick and during the squats my legs were shaking and all the upper body stuff made most of my body shaky.

15 minutes in the sauna afterwards with a recovery drink, apple and good company (with everyone in the class all saying how hard today had been) I felt much better.
Then after a gorgeous Sunday roast at my mams house, I came home and did my deadlifts.

Todays session was 15 reps at 18KG (warm up), 15 @ 25KG, 15 @ 35KG, 10 @ 45KG, 8 @ 50KG and then a poor 2 @ 55KG. These last two my form was so poor, I neglected to do anymore in case I did myself an injury.
That is the most deadlifting I have done, and boy did I know it! It took me about an hour to recover and I felt completely wiped out.
I don't think deadlifts will ever get easier, but then again, I'm not sure they are supposed to. If they did, it would be because I hadn't pushed myself enough.
