I can't put the title for today's blog that I'd like to, because basically it's not very PC. However, I will say that it involves how much I'm sweating lately and my dear darling husband likening it to large ladies glowing in the beautiful resort of Benidorm!
Well... some people like Benidorm don't they? ;-) he he!!!
Skipping was the order of the day, and I did the 10 minutes (still falling over the rope but getting back to it straight away so as not to waste time). I even managed to do 18 reps of "boxer skipping" without breaking my neck. Last week I couldn't even do 2!
I was already soaked by this point, and then it was into the gym for intervals.
Now I would be lying if I said that recent exercise had made me too achy to do a good job today. I wasn't aching, I was just incredibly tired.
I only managed level 11 for 5 minutes and had to put it down to 10.5 for the last 5 minutes. The second interval was done at level 10, and the only thing that kept me going was the thought that I can have my new bikini as soon as I have lost the half a stone I put on and if I didn't leave the machine on level 10 I was giving in too easily. The 3rd interval was done at level 9 for the whole lot. It was keep it here or give up, so I soldiered on for the full time but really was very shattered by the end of it.
I'm not surprised though, Sunday was one of the hardest training days I think I've ever done and it's bound to make me a bit more tired than usual.
Tomorrow I only have a 45 minute run and some new stuff (I think) instead of bodyweight squats. Thursday is a rest day so I'll be feeling much more rested after that!
The most important thing is, I really love all of the training I'm doing. I find it very hard sometimes, but that just gives me a greater sense of achievement when it's all done.
