Questions questions!

Today I recieved my questionnaire from William and Shaun for my training programme. I have to say I was most surprised by its content. I think I was expecting a sort of "What day do you like rest? What day do you do a long run?" sort of thing, and yes, those questions were part of it, but there were other questions too...ones that made you sit and think "Hmmmm, what do I think of that?" and "What would I do in that situation?"

Yesterdays "so called" race made me feel so unmotivated about everything. I had no "get up and go" in me at all...in fact I have felt like this for a few weeks now. On the way home from Woodhall, Graeme commented that everybody has an unmotivated/can't be bothered period in their training. I told him that the only time this affected me was on cutback weeks when there seems no challenge in what I'm doing and being unmotivated for this long doesn't happen to me.
His reply was "Well, it does now!" Paula also commented that she thought I'm now lacking motivation because after spending so much time on a form of training that hasn't worked for me, it's going to take me starting something else to get me back on track.

So, I suppose I have to accept that these feelings will soon be gone because I will be entering a new phase in my training. It's true what they say, a change is as good as a rest.
