Another marathon, that is!
It's on the 8th of August and is on the Isle of Man. Looks amazing... great scenery, great medal, massive free buffet afterwards and even the chance to have your own drinks at the water stations.
Only thing is... I have a certain young man to convince that this is actually a good idea. Maybe the fact that there's only 2 hills in it, may convince him there's good PB potential for him.
I've never been to the Isle of Man so it could be a nice getaway for us. It looks like we won't be planning a summer holiday this year because of Graemes' job etc, so I'm thinking this will be a great stop gap. We're hoping to get to the Toronto Waterfront Marathon at the end of September, and do the lovely Niagra Falls trip too. This coincides very nicely with the timing of our new puppy. We would just get back from there and he would be ready to come home with us.
