I didn't win!

...The competition from Runfurther.
My first reaction was "Phew... thank God", and then I thought, "Awww, that's a shame!"
The first reaction was my fear of what I would have had to do. Since applying for the competition, I have took it upon myself to read other team members blogs and race reports and thought, oh no, what have I got myself into if I win? It is ALL off road stuff, across bogs, marshes, muddy terrain, snow capped hills....and all the orienteering that goes with it.
I seriously would have been out of my depth!

I then thought it was a shame, as I have missed out on some good kit and fantastic advice... but I'd still have been way out of my depth!

However, I learnt about Engo blister plasters from the website at Runfurther, and I've also learnt about Elete Electrolyte products, so I'm glad I have checked it all out.

The email from them was really nice too, saying they liked what they read and would I like to be put forward to run in another team.
Errrrrrrr...... no! Some things really shouldn't be meant to be!
