Windy days and needles

6 miles ran today, and as I was doing the first 3 of them, I was aware that running back home was going to be an effort as the wind was very strong.
I managed to keep my HR really low (most of the first half was under 135bpm), however coming back was much higher. At one point I was too busy thinking about things and noticed I'd picked up the pace whilst running into a headwind and my HR was 155.... oops!

I'm feeling OK after Sunday, but tomorrow is a rest day anyway. I find it very difficult to keep my eating up when I don't run. It's almost as if my body decides I don't need as much and I seem to lose my appetite. This week may be different however, as I had my pill injection tonight and for the first week after having it, I am constantly hungry. I'm relieved to have finally got the injection done and dusted, as the "time of the month" has really affected my running. I can't be bothered to run, and when I do go, I feel terrible. This tends to last for a full week. So, this is one less thing to stop me in my tracks.

I'm psyching myself up for the next 2 weeks, as these will be my biggest weeks ever for mileage with next week being 64 miles and the following being 70. I keep thinking that I have to just keep as motivated as possible and get it all done.... it's only 2 weeks of hard work and then I get to have a good 3 week taper ready for London.
