Things that scare you


The nutritionist that William recommended contacted me today and told me I'm not eating enough carbohydrate and am low in levels of vitamin D and B12, so it was good to find all that out and I can now adapt things. Ironically I've been eating more recently due to the colder weather (I always eat when I'm cold!) and I've found I've had more energy too!

And I entered my race today that I was mulling over. It scares me, but that will make me train harder. It's the Yorkshire Ultra... 50 miles across moors near Whitby. I need to be able to map read, so that's a lovely weekend already planned for Graeme and me for when my route cards come so I can have a bit of a practice. I can't think of anything better... training on the course that I'll be racing on, finishing with a fab weekend in Whitby afterwards. Graeme and I are already looking forward to that training weekend!
