I got up and as soon as I'd had breakfast I went up and did my deadlifts. My plan was to do a 1 rep max and see how far away I was from the last time I'd done it. I got the page up on Fetch and basically copied and pasted the session into todays training log. I thought that I could just delete and redo any bits that I couldn't manage. It turned out that my last session of this I failed at my current PB of 85KG. Today I did the exact same reps and weight and lifted 85KG on my last rep instead of failing. I was chuffed, and even more so when I got an email from Shaun saying that as I weigh less now, this is really good due to my bodyweight ratio. Happy days!
I then went down to the spa and did around 45 minutes in the heat (with 5 minutes in the igloo to cool off). I managed 30 minutes in the sauna, however I lay on the bottom shelf which is around 5 degrees cooler for 25 minutes and then burned to death on the top shelf for the last 5 minutes.
After dinner, I did my upper body weight session, so I'm all done. Ironically, now that I'm back training again I feel really fat, bloated and horrible. Isn't that supposed to be the other way around and I should feel much better? Oh well, I suppose it's all early days isn't it?
