Saturday is the day I definitely get to run!
I saw the physio yesterday and after his surprise at no matter how much he prodded and poked my foot it mostly felt fine, he gave me the thumbs up to try a run, as long as I stuck to a few rules.
1). I run on grass
2). I run/walk for only a mile
3). I run as flat footed as possible, just until I get used to it.
4). I email him straight away so he doesn't wonder how I've got on all weekend.
He agreed that my foot was very stiff, caused by not moving my forefoot for so long. He massaged the joints which felt a bit numb by the time he was finished. I think he's impressed how well I've come on. I'm chuffed :-)
