I am once again sleeping like I am in a coma... it's fantastic and a good sign that I have my training just right. I went to my mams today and she told me that she has been feeling really depressed, and she thinks it's because she has had a week off running since her Race for Life... even my dad had asked why she was so down and did she maybe need to get her trainers out. What a fab sign that she is starting to feel the lack of endorphins when she doesn't run!
I woke up today to feel really good, and I am genuinely amazed that my foot feels completely back to normal... long may that continue!
I did 10 minutes on the rebounder again today and find I'm definitely using it with a bit more vigour. My calves were a tad achy but not too bad. I followed that with my deadlifts which I got a small PB by way of an extra 2.5KG for the full range. The partials and static didn't go so well as my grip on my left hand just completely went. I have actually lifted more in the past with the partials and static so maybe the extra rep for 80KG and another one at 82.5 just pushed me over the edge... I don't know! What I do know is Graeme was up in the loft when I did the last full deadlift and he said it glided up with seemingly no effort at all. Well... I wouldn't go as far as to say it was effortless!
I did my upper body session and then had a sauna (with a cap on). I managed 20 minutes which I have never been able to do after training before, as I'm always too hot and bothered. So, small improvements lead to big improvements over time...
