Dear me... I'm really not very good at air borne running at all. I watched the video and had a go straight away. I expected my upper body to hurt... and it did, but my torso also hurt quite a bit. You can't half feel your core aching with this exercise! I can only manage around 15 to 20 seconds each time I do it, but I suppose I have to start somewhere don't I?
Tomorrow I go back to the podiatrist for him to reassess how I'm getting on. I feel quite pleased with the progress over the last 2 days, as my foot doesn't hurt at all when I walk (this hasn't been the case for nearly 3 weeks!), and on the odd occasion I have tried to put my full weight onto the ball of my foot the pain hasn't been bad at all! Whoever would have thought the wrong shoes could cause so much hassle!
I'm really looking forward to getting back to my normal training. I honestly felt like I'd gone up a gear and was enjoying feeling stronger, so I am hoping to capitalise on it, and get myself to Basel fully fit and ready to run for 12 hours!
