Anal

I'm sorry to admit that my friends, family and colleagues are all completely right... It turns out I'm very anal. I just didn't realise how anal I was until today when I received a questionnaire to fill in from William at Ultra Fitness.
Now this questionnaire was fairly in depth, asking me about all the details of training/injuries/sporting activities done/dates/average 6 monthly stats... the list goes on. It took me hardly any time at all to fill it in, because I knew most of the information with dates without even looking.

One thing that did surprise me is I saw a number of faults with my training just by writing the details out. I write paper training logs and online ones, but I have to admit that I only really look at them when I want to know something from a previous training schedule. I never just sit down and look at what I've done to assess what things are going right and what aren't working.

So, I'm hoping I've been realistic with my goals for the future and that I can get some good advice. I feel a bit lost with running at the moment. Have I just wasted 7 months on something that was a waste of time, or will it be a good base to try something new?
