Veins

Last night I mentioned to one of my Aunties and my mam that I had noticed today how veiny my feet had become. "That will be all the changes in your body because of the running", my Aunty replied. She's a bit sharp my Aunty... an ex Librarian who knows something about everything.

And then I thought about Hadds training, and how it encourages mitochondrial growth. Wow... it's really working then! Supposedly the adaptations in your body from running this way means you get an abundance of "mitochondrial factories" which send oxygen around the body much more efficiently and make you aerobically fitter.

I have since noticed that my hands are very veiny too (stand aside Madonna... my hands look older than yours do!) and I have a few veins that are more noticeable in my forearms too. Insane or what?

Last night I mentioned at the Spiritualist church about the ambulance I saw and the needle in my hand. Gordon told me that the message sounds as though it was meant for somebody in the congregation and I maybe should have mentioned it during the open circle. I felt a little relieved that he seemed to think it was for someone else and not my immediate circle of friends and family.
He laughed when I complained about the pain I felt from the needle. Clair sentience can't half be a right pain sometimes, he joked!
